Why We Built Custoris
Custoris was founded on a straightforward but urgent observation: UK adult social care has a structural governance problem. Providers operate under increasing regulatory scrutiny from the CQC's Single Assessment Framework — 34 quality statements, continuous evidence requirements, and a sector where over a quarter of registered providers are rated Requires Improvement or Inadequate.
Existing technology solutions have largely been built by people who understand software but not care operations. Existing training providers deliver content that doesn't connect to the operational systems that care workers actually use. And the gap between compliance aspiration and operational reality remains stubbornly wide.
Custoris was designed to close that gap — not with a single product, but with an integrated institution. A care provider that operates at the standards we advocate. A technology platform (IGCA) built from within those operations. An academy whose training feeds directly into the governance records IGCA maintains. Each division validates and strengthens the others.
This is governance intelligence as institutional practice, not just software.

Cheta Ikemsinachi Ogbuzuru
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Dual-qualified in public health (MSc Public Health) and organisational psychology (MSc Organisational Psychology), Cheta is a practising Registered Manager with direct CQC turnaround experience. The architecture of the IGCA platform emerged from lived operational practice — not from observing the sector from outside it.
BPS Graduate Member. PhD candidate in Public Health. Cheta brings together the clinical, regulatory, and technological dimensions of social care governance in a way that is rare in the sector.
Kelechi Egbosi
Technical Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer
Senior Software Engineer at JPMorganChase UK, Kelechi brings six years of enterprise cloud engineering experience across Python/Django, Apache Airflow, GCP, and Kubernetes. His background spans high-assurance financial systems infrastructure — an exacting environment that directly informs IGCA's reliability and scalability requirements.
Previously at GitStart (Y Combinator S19) and Astronomer, Kelechi has built data pipelines and workflow orchestration systems at scale. At Custoris, he leads the technical architecture of the IGCA platform.
